Context

Outdoor:
-must be easy to read, quick readability, with a simple, clear message
-billboards
-bustops
-posters - lampost, bench, subway
-bus backs
4D - bustops/billboards (consecutive) showing change over time, the effect of your actions.

In-Store (Window Display):
Things to consider:
-must attract passers bys/customers intot he store
-easy to take in in a single glance - catch the attention
-be intriguing - make them want to find out more
-approachable
-make an impression
-needs to stand out in the retail environment amongs other competitors' window displays
-it is part of the M&S corporate image so must use appropriate colours and style
-could lead the custoemr in the store to a point of sale were they could find out more information.
-interactivity - movement detectors, touch sensitive systems, lights, sound, video
-suspending objects with wire, on a rail, in acrylic boxes, shelves,
-image/type on window or have gt olook into the window - set back
-positioning of focal point - not too high or low - eye level
-consider height/width and depth
-consider all angles of the display

Bag for Life
-quirky - novelty bag
-interactive - as if it looks liek your holding somethign other than just bag (e.g. for a gym, looks as if the customer is holding a weight - printed onto bag)
-roll up bag - easy to remember - can put in handbag - how the type is with the bag rolled up
