Guests should be able to see, feel, taste and smell the restaurant concept
I could create a storyboard of the restaurant experience including all aspects
- The look and feel of the restaurant - consists with what is being told
- Colour schemes and lighting - can give the restaurant a completely different feel
- Staff uniforms - how they present themselves (e.g. Hooters - doesn't exactly portray an intimate dining experience)
- Plates and Glassware - high end crystal stemware, delicate
- Music to create the ambiance
BUT NOT EVERYONE NEEDS TO GO OUT TO EAT
People go to restaurants for entertainment, to socialize, and to get away from the day-to-day grind
How well can the restaurant provide them this 'escape'?
